Cheryl is a retired middle school teacher, wife, mother and grandmother who began creating stone work in her home lapidary setup. After buying remarkable Fordite from the 1960s and 1970s, she finally began cutting into it and was immediately hooked on the patterns, colors and designs each pass could uncover.

Her experience runs deeper than the finish. Cheryl has spoken with Rock & Gem Magazine about identifying Fordite by paint-era clues and the distinctive metallics found in Corvette material.
